Patch Testing for Allergies

Patch testing is conducted to check for any adverse reactions to products or treatments that a client may be sensitive to. A small amount of the product is applied to a discreet area of the skin, usually behind the ear or on the inner arm, to observe for any allergic reactions over 24-48 hours. This protocol is particularly important for clients with a history of allergies or sensitive skin, ensuring that treatments are safe and reducing the risk of severe reactions during full application.
