Avoiding Heat and Sweating

Avoiding Heat and Sweating

After certain treatments, such as waxing, laser hair removal, or chemical peels, it’s important to avoid activities that cause excessive heat or sweating. This includes hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise. Heat and sweat can irritate the skin, increase the risk of infection, and interfere with the healing process. At SOS Wax and Skincare, clients should be provided with clear guidelines on when it is safe to resume these activities based on the specific treatment they received. Advising clients to avoid these activities for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment helps to prevent complications and ensures that the skin heals properly. Clients should also be encouraged to wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize friction and irritation on treated areas.
